  • Dr. Ferguson was first to develop online delivery of the curriculum of the emergency medicine residency.

  • Dr. Ferguson was promoted to Associate Professor of Emergency & Critical Care Medicine at the University of Florida, College of Medicine.

Global Health Project & Curriculum:


 
  • Our initial global health long-term project is developing a school where students will be prepared for a professional school and acquire basic medical skills to help develop a village health system run by them.

  • Early trips will include renovations of buildings for housing future trips.

  • Providing medical education, medical clinics, vaccinations, and dental care.

  • The curriculum duration is 1 or 2 weeks and will take place in Chiang Rai, Thailand.

  • Didactics will be offered on tropical diseases, toxicology of SE Asia, cultural competency, and more.

  • Designed and run by experienced U.S. faculty.

Gamify Exam Preparation:


 
  • Residology’s test preparation aid will be a versatile and exciting video game that will teach, analyze strengths and weaknesses, and provide feedback to guide the learner’s study, making preparation more efficient as well as enjoyable. Successful interactions between the learner and the game will retire fully-grasped concepts, and when a player answers all questions on all topics, the player wins the game. 

  • Mobile app technology will make Residology accessible anytime, anywhere. 

  • Residology will also offer a web-based institution package, which will let Program Directors identify areas of weakness and monitor the learner’s progress providing a mechanism to identify a struggling student and provide just-in-time interventions.
